NHS MyMind

MyMind is a website run by Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (CWP). CWP provides NHS children and young people's mental health services (CYPMHS). My Mind supports children, young people and their families in many different ways with their mental health and wellbeing.

MyMind also supports professionals working with children and young people in Cheshire and Wirral to help bridge gaps between those in need of support and help with the anxieties around accessing it. MyMind helps in navigating conversations about mental health, signposting and provides a landing site dedicated to showcasing local services that provide mental health support and information around specific services too. There is an array of resources on their website for children and young people, parents and carers and professionals- a wide choice of appropriate support that can point those in need in the right direction to access the right support for their mental health when they need it most.

Be Well

Be Well Learning is a training and consultancy company who specialise in delivering qualifications and courses which promote mental wellbeing. They work with all organisations to help them understand and support their workforce with a wide range of disabilities including mental health issues, championing inclusivity and accessibility through a variety of courses.

Be Well Learning are passionate about providing top rate mental health first aid England training, the only licensed MHFA courses in England. They have the following training available Mental Health First Aid Courses, First Aid (EFAW), Suicide First Aid plus bespoke training courses with wellbeing in mind.

The Positivitree

The Positivitree works to improve the mental wellbeing of families with children who have additional health or care needs in its broadest sense. The Positivitree’s ethos is ‘no parent-carer should ever have to walk their path alone’ this is the underpinning of all their programming, workshops and more.

Within Positivitree their entire team has lived experience that echoes throughout all aspects of the work delivered. The Positivitree combats the exhaustion parents and carers face during a diagnosis pathway, they hope to support parents and carers when the world doesn’t quite fit their child and make sure that they are not alone.

The Positivitree offers everyday support that takes various forms to act as ‘lifelines’ that can help the wellbeing of families such as term-time groups in local cafes and Family Hubs, plus inclusive "Stay and Play" sessions during school holidays to create consistent moments of Joy for children and young people. They also specialise in educational workshops across the Wirral covering vital topics like understanding sensory needs and restrictive eating, plus a variety of unique community events to create positive wellbeing moments for those who need it most.

Quirky Academy CIC

Quirky Academy CIC is a creative studio that specialises in adult and children’s creative workshops with the focus being sustainable practices and upcycling. It is a local non-for-profit company that uses recycled or recyclable materials and paints to create and collaborate on upcycling, creative workshops and much more.

Quirky Academy specialises in creative murals, public art installations, large restoration commission projects and hand painted furniture for hire and sale. They transform materials into unusual custom painted projects encouraging boldness with each piece they create.
