Meet the Joy Makers: The Positivitree
We are so pleased to welcome our Joy Makers through the doors and into the community. Get to know…
The Positivitree
The Positivitree works to improve the mental wellbeing of families with children who have additional health or care needs in its broadest sense. The Positivitree’s ethos is ‘no parent-carer should ever have to walk their path alone’ this is the underpinning of all their programming, workshops and more.
Within Positivitree their entire team has lived experience that echoes throughout all aspects of the work delivered. The Positivitree combats the exhaustion parents and carers face during a diagnosis pathway, they hope to support parents and carers when the world doesn’t quite fit their child and make sure that they are not alone.
The Positivitree offers everyday support that takes various forms to act as ‘lifelines’ that can help the wellbeing of families such as term-time groups in local cafes and Family Hubs, plus inclusive “Stay and Play” sessions during school holidays to create consistent moments of Joy for children and young people. They also specialise in educational workshops across the Wirral covering vital topics like understanding sensory needs and restrictive eating, plus a variety of unique community events to create positive wellbeing moments for those who need it most.
We know that The Positivitree is going to bring some amazing, joyous vibes to Joy. Make sure you get to know them, check out their website and find them on social media.
