Meet the Joy Makers: Be Well Learning

Be Well Learning is a training and consultancy service that delivers training that helps ‘raise awareness and improve people’s understanding about the needs of autistic people, people with a learning disability and also people who are experiencing poor mental health’.

Be Well Learning provide top rate mental health first aid England training and is the only licensed MHFA courses in England. Their mission is to empower people with the skills and confidence to help in an emergency and recognise the early signs and symptoms of mental ill health. Be Well Learning are ‘excited’ to be joining Open Door once again at Joy,
after working alongside them for several years, and hope to create more opportunities. They are looking forward to future ‘connections and accessing a space which has excellent facilities’. Joy will help be a base
for their services to be delivered and ‘grow alongside other services’ providing to the wider community.

Nikki Parry states, ‘We want to welcome the community here and be able to reach out to them, talk to them and connect with them and provide them with support’ at Joy.
